My name is Uwe Szabin Balogh. I am 26 years old and currently I am a student at St. John's Central College, where I am studying Creative Digital Media.
I have always been very interested in the media industry, particularly video editing. I also play drums, make music, record drum covers and I also edit my own videos. Before this course I primarily used Sony Vegas Pro.
Playing video games, is another passion of mine
This is the main software I have used to create this website. This portfolio website was an assignment for our Web Authoring module initially, but I also use it to show off my work to potential future clients or future students of St. John's Central College.
Photoshop was used to create the assets for the website, and also for most of the preparation work pre production, such as the banner or a branding page.
I have used Premiere Pro to edit videos for our Video Processing module. I also included some of that work on this website. It includes work from both this academic year, and also work from last year, where our class created more creative projects.
Animate had an important role in our animation project for HSE. This was the software we used to make the assets in which we later worked on within another software.
The majority of our animation project for HSE was created in this software. The assets we created in Animate, were imported into an After Effects project.
3D Modelling plays a massive part in this course, both this year and last year. We are able to do this thanks to Blender, a very easy to use, and easily accessible software. It let's the end user to create brand new 3D models from scratch as a still render, but it is also possible to animate models. It is an incerdibly versatile program, used by many.
